The Presidential Race - Different approaches to the Health Care Issue (Part -2)
Statistics show that about 43 million Americans currently have to live without healthcare and 6 million of those are children. Various groups such as private and public civic groups that are composed of industry experts have long been saying that a major crisis is looming in the industry the sub-prime lending issues that rocked the nation and the world worsened the effects. Americans today who have healthcare insurance have to pay a lot of cash right out of their pockets even with the assurance they have health care. Retirees are getting worst news that even if they have pensions and health insurance, they will be spending a huge proportion of their retirement benefits for the medical treatments they may need. This is ironic, for one of the richest countries on earth has citizens who do not have access to health care are faring the same as those with them which would be a simple case of wasted effort and legislation.
